Their basic plan was unusable for me(hard to get service in Los Angeles since youre deprioritized).
Their upgraded plan is great tho.

If you live in a large metropolitan area, you will constantly be deprioritized and suffer low data speeds on this particular plan. Consider this more of a backup option for that scenario.

Have you tried Mint? I'm not crazy about them either and was looking at Visible.

Man I'd love more details on how to do this! I use two Android phones with visible at a rural property for our cameras and streaming when we are there. Would love to exceed the 10mbps hotspot cap (without being flagged)
PairVPN is free. Install it on your phone as server. Install it on your computer as client. Connect via hotspot. Then start the PairVPN setup process following the prompts. Then you changed Visible unlimited hotspot from 10 mbps to 100 in two minutes.

If you have standard Tmo service, do not switch to this unless you're only on wifi and just want phone calls and texts when away from wifi. We got visible on our sons' iphones and it was atrocious service. There's a reason it's so much cheaper.

Has anyone signed up for t-mobile post paid, then ported out before 14 days, do you still get charged for the month? Or will they do the 30 day guarantee thing.

What did you put when it asks for your T-Mobile account number?

Also unrelated, but do NOT put your first IMEI number when signing up if you want to use eSIM. I wasn't thinking about it, but the first IMEI is for the physical SIM card slot. Visible doesn't let you change it once you put it in (at least for initial activation). All I could do is cancel the order on the app, but then the shopping cart no longer worked since I couldn't add the plan to the cart anymore.
False. I put the IMEI of the device in the Visible Wizard to make certain the device uses the frequencies that VZ/Visible uses, it cleared and then asked me to download the Visible app to the activate device and affirm/confirm service purchase. I did eSim and it was flawless. I put in the Mint Account Number and Transfer Pin which i received from MINT CS after calling in to get it. You will always need to put IMEI2 (the actual eSIM in) if you plan to use eSIM. IMEI1 is the physical sim.

That's cool but not what I was asking. Again, what did you put in for the T-Mobile account number when it asked to transfer the number?

The other part about IMEI was just a warning. It literally did not let me change it after entering it. It would just ask if it's the correct IMEI on the app, and if you said "no", it would just say to activate it on that device. Apparently, either IMEI works on iPhone but on Android, you must enter the second one for eSIM to work.

An in case you still doubt it, it's mentioned frequently on their own forums:
https://community.visible.com/t5/...rue#M11737
https://community.visible.com/t5/...rue#M12138

Would have been nice if the compatibility check would warn about this ahead of time. It literally breaks their shopping cart and prevents you from trying again and their support is as bad as people say it is.

Edit:

Yeah, I was warning other people regarding the IMEI because Visible doesn't explicitly state that and doesn't let you change it after your set it on your account.

Why would I bother? I use google voice as main and then link it every 3 months instead.
no porting or keeping numbers IDGAF.

only iphone users that care about the check marks care about it.
so they are stuck paying over priced plans unless apple makes a google voice service for free as well but they wont because they want the money.
