yes, this is my experience, too, but you have to be on the 35/mo plan to get access to UW

The basic plan connects to 5G UW/C-Band, it just doesn't display the 5G UW status icon. Speeds are limited to 400mbps on the basic plan too, which you'd never see via LTE or 5GNW, only C-Band would be that fast. It used to be limited to 200mbps. And yes, there are some people on the basic plan on here and reddit that claim their phones can't connect to C-Band, while lots of others report being connected to n77 (C-band) no problem.

But yeah, if you're in an area that doesn't have solid C-Band coverage, then you're probably going to have a pretty bad time on LTE/5G QCI 9 priority level. Verizon/Visible UW coverage map is actually pretty accurate, at least when it comes to being outdoors or in normal sizes houses.

I only see $25 or $45 for the 2 plan options. This discount only is good for $10 off the $25 plan. Are you grandfathered in for a past price of $35 Visible+ plan that I am unaware of?

Any cheap router suggestions?
Buy any GL iNet router and do phone tether via USB. Change the TTL value to 65.

Network>Firewall>Custom Rules

iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o get_wanface -j TTL --ttl-set 65

ported out from visible to tello

trying to port back into visible and getting this error:
You must have an active number to be able to bring it to Visible.
Contact your carrier to make sure this number is active, or choose a new one with us.

it's only been 20mins since the port out so I will try again maybe in about 40 minutes

When is the Service Start Date start with Visible? The date I signup with them or the date I activate (port-in) my number with them? My T-mobile billing cycle will end on 9/16. Would like to time it right to avoid too much overlapping paying for both services. Thank you!

Has anyone tried porting t-mobile prepaid? Did it work?
Do a chat with them at their website they are pretty good and available. See what they say.

I had the same question and the person at the chat told me no it has to be postpaid T-Mobile account. It also states so at their terms and conditions.

I was using the Visible for close to a year two years ago. At that time, I remember they only had one plan. The service was good, so I moved to T-Mobile for a free phone.

It will work for the first month. After that nobody truly knows. The deal hasn't been around long enough.

T-Mobile is not any better. I have to constantly turn on / off airplane mode to get better speed temporarily. With that being said, I will bring all 6 lines from T-Mobile to Visible to save some $$$.
When you bring them over is the best thing to bring them individually so each line is $10 / off?

Just got it done from tmo 55+ two lines.
Was very easy to port in numbers and everything went smoothly.
I ported secondary line first by making an account on visible then used its promo code for the second line now my next bill for one line is $15 and $5 for the second.
I'm in nyc (brooklyn) and i always had two bars at home now i have 4 bars constantly and hoping it will work fine outside.
I use wifi at home and at work so I'm not really concerned abut the data, as long as i don't drop calls and get decent internet when I'm not connected to wifi I'm ok with it.
P.S it would save $40 and some change every month if things go well.
