One of the longest running stores giving how VUDU has gotten bought out multiple times now. Additionally they upgrade from HD to 4k for free when available.

I ONLY buy Apple now.

On September 12, 2023, I was lucky enough to see the notification for Burn Notice: The Complete Series for $19.99 on Apple TV.

Convenience.

Same reason I don't make my own pizza. Cause I don't want to spend the time growing wheat, milking cows, growing tomatoes, harvesting, turning milk into cheese, curing pepperoni.

Is it wishful thinking to hold out for $20?

Exactly this, I don't buy digital anymore after realizing this is completely true, you will never own this. Physical you own, digital can be made not to work at anytime.
Not true. The digital streaming service would have to end completely, studios would have to shut down their servers and that would mean that their multi billion dollar digital movie streaming revenue would be done over.

Psych is so good. I think the episodes go quick, it is witty, and well written for this type of show.

I only buy from Apple, but man, the TV app on Windows and Mac randomly begins to stutter the video. I often have to close the media and reopen to fix it. Annoying as hell.

That's one and a price mistake at that. I have hundreds of movies and tv shows in iTunes. Have not lost a movie or tv show yet. Better yet, I just don't care. I rather have the convenience of digital streaming than owning ewaste that clogs up my garage. You should imagine what it's like to have over 500 or 1000 bluray movies and tv shows of various sizes. Think about how you are going to store the continuously growing collection. I had a garage sale to get rid of my huge dvd and bluray collection. Best thing I've ever done. It was one of the happiest days of my life when the last one was sold for a buck.

I pay no more than $5 for digital movies. Losing 20 movies is $100. TV shows? $10~$30. No big deal. Chump change these days.

I personally store movies on hard drives and convert some to ipad format when I want to have some to watch when away from home. After running into the issue of vudu not working on my old ipad because vudu now requires a newer ios than what the old ipad can update to, and I dont want to spend money on a new ipad when old works just fine, I just convert what I want to take with me.

Been debating on getting this.

Peacock has this but with commercials.

Not sure how I happened across it at the time but I just checked my order receipt and I bought the entire series of The Expanse through Vudu for $10 back in April. Excellent show. One of my favorites and seems to fly way too low under the radar despite having a very devoted following

Any good Apple Giftcard deals? Gonna need it for this sale.
I think Chase Ultimate Rewards still has 10% off on Apple GCs
