I can't believe how much the narrative of this game was dominated by the politics of it. Everyone either claimed it was the worst game ever, or gave it 10/10 and claimed it was Game of the Year to counter that. It was neither. Parts of it were wonderful, truly brought me back to my childhood, no notes. Other parts of the story really felt forced and out of nowhere, or didn't mesh with one another due to the open-world nature of it. Leaving out Quidditch in any form is baffling, and a massive miss. It was a fine game, maybe a 7/10. Anyone who said it was terrible didn't give it a chance, and anyone who said it was a perfect game intentionally overlooked the flaws to make a point. Solid game, I played on Xbox, so I can't speak to the Switch version, but this price is good for the content you get. JK Rowling still sucks though.

The graphics are pretty basic and there are a lot of loading screens between areas on the Switch. If you have another console (or a PC set up for gaming) I would recommend that over getting it on Switch.

I played it on PS5 and there were basically no loading screens other than a brief delay for fast travel.

If you only have a switch, then this is solid, however if you have another means available, go that route

Totally agree w/ the comment below - if you have an Xbox Series S/X, or a PS5, they'd definitely give you the better looking and smoother-playing game.

However, if you only have a Switch, the game is 100% there and totally playable. Loading times are annoying, and the graphics took a hit. But they somehow managed to keep the entire experience there, on the significantly-limited (compared to Xbox/PS) hardware of the Switch. Have it on PS5 and Switch, beat it on both, thoroughly enjoyed it both times.

It s a very good game if you are a fan of the game, I loved wandering in the castle, almost made me nostalgic of all the movie and video game I experienced during my childhood.

When exploring the exterior it s start to be a bit repetitive sadly concerning the enemies and dungeons but it can still be charming.

Like a lot of other reply, take it on a pc, ps5 or xbox if you have a choice but if you have only a switch it can be work for the experience.
