I picked this up from the same seller a couple of weeks ago, total was about $500 after taxes (less than this).

It could have been in better condition. It had stickers on it that left terrible residue, and rather scratched screen protector on it. I cleaned off the goo, and replaced the screen protector.

It didn't come with the box or any printed materials, just the device in the case made for it, which was fine. And a power brick that did look new. But it certainly didn't come "Like New" as described in the eBay Refurbished blurb.

This thing is HUGE. I knew it was going to be kinda large, because of the large high-quality screen. But I did not anticipate just how huge it is. It's a good thing the controllers detach, because you are going to want to put it down. And when you put it in the case, it takes up at least 3x as much space as my 14" laptop.

If you think you are going to save money by buying the 512GB SSD, and upgrading it yourself, think again. It is an unusual size, and they are more expensive than I expected. You are going to spend at least $90 on that 1TB SSD. But if you want to upgrade to a 2TB for about $200, then maybe you should go with the smaller size.

I like that the controllers have customizable buttons, but it just isn't very comfortable to hold.

Overall, I'm feeling very conflicted about the purchase.

You can get a WD SN740 2TB & a 2230 to 2242 adapter off Aliexpress for ~115 with coupon. Alternatively a replacement backplate and adapter for 2280 SSDs for around ~$20

Nice, thanks for the tip. When I searched for 2230 to 2242 adapter, Amazon auto-filled "Legion Go". Must be a popular option.

I'm just throwing it out there. Might be my luck But I bought a WD SN750 2tb from aliexpress. After a month of usage, Steam deck is telling me it's dying. Luckily aliexpress comes with a 90-day return policy. So I'm sending it back.

You can also buy the zigzag 2242 to 2280 adapter and fit regular sized SSDs inside the legion go. Some thicker SSDs may require just a tiny, tiny bit of sanding to the back cover which is extremely easy and quick to do. I replaced my 512gb drive with my laptops 4tb drive, and sanded a tiny piece of plastic off of the back cover and it fit like a glove.

Maybe swappa from someone desperate to sell...or to scam you out of $300.

I actually find it very comfortable like a steam deck because of how you can grip the controllers

But it is heavy

Nonetheless you can also just take the tablet portion separately with a small foldable Bluetooth keyboard and you have a powerful mini PC on the go

The versatility is a big selling point

All I want is for them to finally release the GYRO drivers to play Wii games, it should be the next big update

Their software support is lacking compared to the ROG ALLY but they are much more transparent about it

I still wouldn't buy it refurbished from anyone other than Best buy and Lenovo
