I've talked about this in a bunch of other posts. This game's visual presentation is extremely important to the game play experience.
You'll spend a huge chunk of time just walking around Hogwarts looking at all the tiny little animated details and architecture.
I'd say a minimum of 12700k 4070 for the best experience.
I only played this on consoles. Does the PC version also has the weird issue where walking in from exterior to interior environments, the black levels on the interiors stay washed out sometimes? I assume they are washed out because the way the exterior is rendered by having the distance fog. I hope I don't have to mod.

Yes, it does. At least it did when I played it when it came out. Not sure if that got fixed since then.
