Though as I'm getting older, I honestly would have preferred MG simply because they're easier to put together because of the size.

I know that RG has comparable articulation/detail to the MG line, and it's chepaer.
But I also heard that they're not as robust as the 1/100 MGs.
Are the differences in price worth the differences between the RG and MG? ( I realize that this might be subjective)
Also, do you have any favorite kits/ones you recommend?
As well as recommendations for where to buy them? (I used HLJ to buy some kits a long whiles back since the vendors like Gundam planet and whatnot had insane markups)

Hobby Lobby is a great place to shop. They often have 40% off deal for all model kits.
