New Deal/Thread Limits

I've noticed that some users flood the site with deals. Often, they're posting all the deals from a sale before anyone else has the chance to do so. This must make some users feel like contributing new deals is pointless, and I know for me it makes me want to ignore those users who just flood the site. That can't be good for SD.

I propose that there be a limit to deal threads users can create in a 12 hour period. This would allow others an opportunity to partake in the deal sharing and help SD to be a less toxic community.

Hi,
While we don't want things to be disruptive and encourage you to mod alert things that are, we also encourage people to post any deal they feel might help someone else. If you mod alert the situation when you see it we can see if there's a solution that helps all of us. Smilie
