Rossignol is primarily known as a ski company, but they bought out Felt bikes in 2017.

Correct, SD is for everyone - just because YOU can't afford it, doesn't mean that other people aren't looking for a deal who can afford it.

Thanks for posting mountain bike deals! It is indeed a great time to be in the market for a high end mountain bike. I was looking for a bike I could ride at the bike park or on the trail and found the Salsa Cassidy (180/160mm) in carbon with a very nice build for $2200! https://www.salsacycles.com/bikes...sidy-c-slx

Wow. I don't know much about the brand, but just from the included components, this is a deal. For anyone else like me that likes to know wheel sizes, XS and S are 27.5", M and larger is 29"

That's a great deal if looking for a long travel enduro or park bike.

Holy moly that is a steal at that price.

Unfortunately I find bikes with that much travel less fun than more xc oriented bikes.

I am really new to mtb and am currently waiting on Costco's bike deal again. How does it compare to Intense 951 for $2k

Just to add some quick thoughts on these bikes, the Deore 11 obviously comes outfitted with budget options, but still better build than most entry level bikes at this pricepoint that would most likely come with a Suntour fork, SX or Microshift drivetrain, and cheap tires. The only real downside is the 46t cassette paired with the 32t chainring which will struggle on steeper climbs, but easy enough to swap out a 30t chainring.

The SLX hits the sweet spot for most riders with nothing that would really hold you back or need upgrading.

The XT is the 'No Regerts' build. If I had to nit-pick a complaint it would be the relatively short 150mm dropper on size L. Pretty crazy deal for <$2500.

That Intense at $2k is a great deal. A lot of the value is in the carbon frame, but its still not necessarily super light. The NX drivetrain is 'meh', but fine (I just prefer Shimano in general). It's pretty comparable to the SLX build here.

wish we could get slickdeal news on clearance $60 or less bikes that you can even give away instead of these deals that are. targeted to a specific group.... not a general population deal but rich people deal. SD is for everyone but some of these deals seem to be advertisement by the site as opposed to actual deals.
Correct, SD is for everyone - just because YOU can't afford it, doesn't mean that other people aren't looking for a deal who can afford it.

It's all about priorities and what's important to you. So while you're comfortable spending well over a grand on a 77" TV, others have no problem buying nice* bikes.

(*and in the realm of nicer bikes, this one is at the low end)

The Costco Intense deal is good. I don't know much about these bikes, but assuming they are decent, then I'd probably grab the Trail Mandate XT. You get a better drivetrain, brakes, and Kashima suspension. And it would only be $350 more than the Costco.
