I have the 75" U7N I bought back in November (a bit better BF deal at $899) and have been very happy with it. The only thing I can't quite figure out is using my laptop HDMI output - it's a little choppy, but I think that's more likely the source material. I bought it based on the rtings reviews and they're pretty spot on. I don't see any need to go OLED for my use (mostly PS5, but some streaming and a lot of hockey). I'll say that with the same app, hockey streaming is better on my C3 OLED, but the Hisense is no slouch once it's dialed in, for a lot less money.
That 75 u75n was out of stock even at the higher sale price they had and it's still out of stock for me at the start of this sale. That ads pro panel seems much nicer and I'm grumpy about it.

Hahaha I appreciate your honesty :-)
I'm on the fence between this and the 65" U8N deal for $999. Anyone have any thoughts comparing those two? I think they're both VA panels, eh?

Yes... 65" in both models are VA panels. Rtings.com reviewed both 65" TVs: 8.2/10 (U7N/U75N) and 8.5/10 (U8N). Detail results are attached. Since Costco doesn't carry the U8N, when taking into account the GC and warranty, this deal for the U7N is effectively $400 cheaper. The question that only you can answer: Is the U8N worth the extra coin for your use case?
"The Hisense U8/U8N is better than the Hisense U7N. The U8N has better contrast for very deep blacks that are approaching OLED territory. The U8N also has better HDR brightness, so highlights in HDR really pop out at you in dark scenes, and very bright specular highlights even stand out in well-lit scenes. On top of that, the U8N has a wider color gamut and better color volume, so colors in HDR content are more vibrant, lifelike, and brighter. When it comes to bright room capabilities, the U8N has better SDR brightness and reflection handling, so it easily overcomes glare in even the brightest of rooms. However, the U7N has better PQ EOTF tracking, so it's more accurate in HDR." https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/hisense-u7n-u7-u75n-vs-hisense-u8-u8n/50405/50406?usage=1&th...[rtings.com]
Dumb question here: if production specs does not say Apple AirPlay, then it doesn't support right? Which brands/lines typically support AirPlay? Thanks.

I've been trying to get this tv in the 75" since last year and it has NEVER been available for shipping to my zipcode. I can get the 65" though, I don't get it. I'm tempted to go with Amazon since they've priced matched Costco but you lose the warranty.

Just FYI, when connecting your laptop, use "game mode" or whatever equivalent option there is for better response time.

I have a u6n and it supports airplay so I'd assume this would
Oh, that Best Buy warranties aren't included, but they're infinitely better. They'll repair/replace any screen with burn-in or dirty screen effect.
Are you saying the BB/Geek Squad warranties are really good? Because I was debating either getting the 75" U75N from this deal when it comes back in stock, or finally going to BB to pick up my open box "fair" condition 75" TCL QM8 (2023) model that I got for just over $600 all-in last week. Given that it was open box, I was probably going to add the $129 five yr Geek Squad warranty to be safe, once I got it home and verified it didn't need to be an immediate return. I assume the QM8 is probably the superior TV, even being a year older, since it was TCL's flagship model. Just have to hope it was returned strictly for buyer's remorse.

FYI - If you purchased this last November, you have the U7K, not the U7N.
