The 4080 is 900$+ alone.
So, you're telling me let's have them just give it to you for free?

I need an upgrade and this would be a build i would do. But I have terrible luck with prebuilts...
After seeing what Starforge charges for an i5 setup, this seems like a pretty low price for the convenience offered on a system that could handle new games for close to a decade.

EDIT: and of course the description mentions a different SKU: Y60BI9N4704
I've parsed this to mean Y60 is the case variation, BI9 is intel [I9], N470 is Nvidia 4070, and the final number is different iterations (1 was 13th gen, 2+ look like 14th gen, but also of note the PSU can vary from 700w to 750 depending on the build).

And that was using pretty much the most discount parts available (which in my experience thus far Ibuypower hasn't done at least in the last 2 builds I've seen from them).
I love building my own rigs, but this is a great price.
I'd just wait for a big sale and cash back 10% or higher then pull the trigger on an alienware with a 3 year warranty. let them replace it if anything goes wrong, and if nothing goes wrong you've probably saved 30% of a boutique build.
absolutely disregard anything gamersnexus says, he's still mad he didnt get an alienware for his birthday 20 years ago.

Do we know which motherboard is used?
I think I've narrowed it down. The pics are a ProArt Creator WFi Z-790 based on the visual cues matching only that model... The writing, placement of it, and the specific pattern of diagonal markings seen here: https://www.asus.com/us/motherboa...ato

It's whatever they had when the photographer arrived. I trust there tech support that actually looked up what boards have been going inside each model #

the Mfr website says this model has 32 GB Ram, but only a 1 TB HDD...
who knows what you'll end up with. the start price of $2099 is also much lower than it should be compared to other model specs/prices.
overall, this seems too good to be true, and return is likely..
