This is the best way to save a few bucks on Stihl products which hardly ever have any sales/discounts.

Err, even with the 3% Apple card CB, this is hardly "the best way to save a few bucks" on Apple products UNLESS you do a lot of home improvements, etc.. or have a way to unload the Ace GCs. Apple GCs regularly goes on sale at various retailers like BB/Target for 10% off + 2% CB via Apple Pay or 5% if buying at Target with your Redcard so no reasons to hoard Ace GCs.
I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm only talking about Stihl products, not Apple products. I'm not jumping through Apple gift card hoops, Apple pay, bestbuy or target, I'm only talking about buying a couple Ace gift cards with normal American money and saving a few bucks you wouldn't otherwise be able to save on Stihl products.

Haha, my bad. I misread Stihl as "Siri" and assumed you were trying to load up on Ace GCs because it's a 3% retailer when paying with Applecard/Apple Pay. Mea culpa

Heck yeah. thanks OP. How do use these in store? And are they good for things like woodstove pellets that are exempt from all of their typical discounts?

They're gift cards, they generally work on everything like cash, except you can't purchase gift cards with a gift card.

Nice, so now you can spend $50 instead of $60 on the same Chinese made junk you can buy at Walmart or Amazon for $20!

If you get the digital card they send you an email. The email that has a link to a PDF. it has a barcode that for some reason the cashier needs to type into the register instead of scanning it.

What happened all 5 times I used the barcode the person at the register has no idea what to do and has to ask for a manager because the company doesn't make digital gift cards easy to use. One time the employee asked me if I knew how, "because I told you how to do it last time you were here". (This is partly my fault, to embarrass the employee that had to ask for help for the 3rd time I asked the manager how to run it) And one time they wanted me go print the barcode and come back. I told them it would give them the same info but on paper and no I wouldn't go home and print it. (Then they admitted the manager was at lunch and they didn't know how to run it).

I am still getting digital cards.

Is there a way to find out if your store is participating? I don't want to buy this and end up they are not able to take a gift card.

Most ace dealers will take gift cards as payment just like cash or credit card. I would call your local store though as I have one by my house who said they are not setup to take gift cards in store.

All ace dealers can take them online though, so worst case you have to place an order for in store pickup. Keep in mind though they limit you to 3 gift cards per order.

Also make sure you sign up for rewards.. they have some decent coupons ( $7 off $20, $10 off $50, $20 off $100 ) which can be used for most non sale items.
