Yes, and sole it's worth the $300 upgrade over the 14".
- larger screen size 16"vs 14"
- slightly more powerful M3 Pro SOC
- more powerful gpu
- larger battery, longer battery life
- Better cooling due to larger body / chassis

These make going to the 16" worth it for my use case. Everyone is different; just like a MacBook Air 13" with the M3 at $850 for most is all they need.

Yes please. Even get M2 Pro, if needed.
I have M1 pro and only reason I need to upgrade is 16gb ram which becomes problem with multiple IDE/browser/TG/Docker running together
