shake head ARM software compatibility is years away. Laptops are doing it for battery life, but there is no reason for desktops to be limited by emulation shortfalls and slow developer support.

While 16GB is still fine for most gaming, I agree 32GB would be ideal. But RAM is literally the easiest upgrade and often overpriced in prebuilt PCs. There are only 2 ram slots so that could be a $80-100 upgrade down the road, less anything you make selling 2x8GB ddr5 sticks.

Regarding the CPUs, fixes are rolling out, much more an issue for people like me that have been running a 13th gen CPU for years. However, there is still some risk. We life in a hellscape where there are only 2 CPU options, go with AMD if that is your preference.

14th gen intel is picky with ram though, so good luck finding a kit that works well with the dell proprietary motherboard. Even if the motherboard has XMP it may crash nonstop with some kits.

So then you're stuck trying to manually set timings to get ram to run full speed and I doubt the dell motherboard even has most of that enabled.

I understand people nagging about Mac's storage or RAM but when it comes to PC it is silly, I stopped counting how many extra rams and ssds sets in my drawer

Is this the 10% up to $1k? I think it says it's only when buying from Dell's small business store. Would be great if it worked throughout the site though. Maybe someone else can confirm.
