The stainless steel variants have a sapphire crystal screen, instead of the crappier glass on the aluminum models. Sapphire is much more resistant to scratching. In 3 years with the S4 stainless and 2 years with the S8 stainless I've never managed to scratch either one. Smacked against walls, door handles, all kinds of sh*t. Case scratched up? Easy --> polish it. If you care about screen scratches (and they drive you nuts), the stainless is suuuuuuuper worth it for the sapphire screen.

I honestly haven't had many issues at all with the Milanese band that came with my stainless Apple Watch. I have really hairy arms but it's rare for them to catch on the edge of the band. This only applies to the ones made by Apple. If you get a third party no-name Milanese band from eBay or wherever, those will rip your hair out guaranteed.

Walmart cancelled my order after I got the out for delivery notice this morning and it never arrived. And no longer available to order. Saves me some money I guess.

I've tried to order this like 8 times in the last 24 hours. FIrst, CC wasn't accepted. Then the order went through. Like 4 times. And they canceled every time. I called later. 2x now, over 12 hours. each time they the thief said if I tried again in an hour (now a half hour) it would go through. One more time I guess. I've ordered a lot from Walmart now and then, and they cancel me on something time sensitive. Most of these were gone 12 hours ago. WTF Walmart?

I bought the regular silver with white band for $250. Supposedly it will be delivered today.

I hope they don't cancel

This happened to me. Their system is laughable. Any order beyond the original one is cancelled regardless the status of the first order.

The 44mm stainless steel silver with the s/m white sportband was delivered yesterday and the box states exactly the correct product. I ordered when the deal went live, so no cancellation for me. I am not sure if I'll be keeping it though so haven't opened it yet. I have an Apple Watch Ultra but thw bulkiness of it sometimes gets to me so considering trying out the series 8.

Anyone know the Walmart return policy for opened, tried on Apple Watches?

As a small, bony wristed woman, the sport band actually hurt. The Milanese band is so much more comfortable.

Man... I paid almost this much for the Milanese loop alone, back in the early days of the Apple Watch. Is it nice? Yes, my favorite official band for Apple Watch. Is/was it worth $250? Hell no... but the third party knockoffs of this particular band just don't deliver.

Received mine yesterday. Blood O2 works and this also has cell capability too, but I guess when retail is like $750 (according to Walmart) it comes with that automatically 😁
