Unless you are limited for space, these combo machines take a very long time to dry. And when your laundry is done, it still feels slightly moist.

While doing some research on these Washer/Dryer (LG, GE, and Samsung) combos. The clothes not drying and the wash dry time is long especially the Samsung was one of the points all the reviews pointed out. One of the companies tells you to shake the clothes when you take them out of the machine. WTF!

I was also told to stay away from the Samsung because it's the worse. The reviews I have watch/read has been the opposite. That Samsung clothes come out the driest. Not sure if that's because the door open once complete.

I did purchase the Samsung. They offered the 2 year warranty for a .01. Plus that added a Military discount and a phone trade in. I have an old Note 10 laying around. Samsung gave me 79 for it.

Anyone else have experience with these all-in-ones? I like the idea of saving space, but the comments so far support my skepticism that this is a good idea. Worth it? Not? Issues?

This new Samsung one is suppose to be a lot better drying. Its seem like the best available all in one at the moment.

$1500 is pretty steep but this is more of a niche item and for a very specialized use case. 90% of the
time, if you can use this, you can also fit a stackable washer and dryer that will cost less and cycle faster.

I have an LG one and it works really well, I've been using it for almost 4 years. It has a pretty big capacity actually though I don't recommend over loading it as in this case the clothes will take longer to dry and will be wrinkled. But with a normal load it's really perfect, and no need to take them out between washing and drying so that's convenient. Also saves on the electric bill.

I have the new LG one with the heat pump, and it dries completely. It's pretty awesome to be able to start a load of laundry as you're going to bed or leaving the house and not have to worry about it.

Have Samsung one from last Costco deal. Spent like $400 more than this one. I personally like it because I don't have time to load my clothes from washer to dryer. I usually have the washer on when I leave for work in the morning. The whole time is about 3 to 4 hours. Another benefit is much much less electricity usage…
However, there is a huge drawback, you have to clean the filter every single time. It is a meticulous effort….
I never have dryness problem in the past more than 100 washes

1500 isn't bad for a washer/dryer set. My speed queen dryer was 1500 by itself

Buy 2, replace the washer and dryer. Then every hour and a half you have 2 full loads done! Reading through some of the reviews it seems like this actually improves the laundry capacity compared to traditional units.
Edit: The 98 minute cycle time quoted on the website seems to be unrealistic, every review I've looked at shows it being more like 2.5 to 4 hours.

Everyone has a problem with these washer/dryer combos because they don't read the manual 🙄. People jam these full of clothes and expect the drying to go perfectly. Your supposed to fill these to 2/3rd capacity so they have room to dry and don't take as long to dry and complete multiple loads. These are intended for you to wash your clothes daily not a week or months worth at a time or to simply use the washer and hang dry. This is the European way and not recommended imho.

I would be cautious with ordering from Samsung. They have been absolutely terrible to deal with. I ordered a washer and dryer in May and the first available delivery was the end of July. The dryer was damaged in transit so instead of sending a new, undamaged dryer, they canceled the order and refunded me. Completely ridiculous.

Then I reach out and ask them to replace the order. They set up the cart for me and it appears that the Samsung Care plan only applies to one appliance, but they assure me that it's for both. The cost was now higher and they tell me I need to pay the higher price and they will refund the difference from what I paid in May. Again, completely ridiculous but I do it. I'm waiting and waiting for the refund and then they finally tell me they can only process one refund at a time and the washer from the first order was missing so they are investigating it and cannot refund me until that is processed. I never received the washer. It's with the delivery company. That's not my problem, but they say they cannot refund it until it is found. Again, this is ridiculous. I finally tell them to cancel the refund on the washer and we'll deal with that later. I wanted the current order to be price matched so I could accept delivery. I did not trust Samsung enough to accept delivery and haul away and then price match me after the fact. And I'm glad I didn't. Once the supervisor looks into my current order he said it's not eligible for a price match because the Samsung Care plan was only on one appliance. I advised that I was assured multiple times by the rep that it did apply and I had it in writing. He said it didn't matter; the price match would be refused. His solution: cancel that second order and place a THIRD order. How stupid is this? And maybe I'm stupid for doing it, but I did.

As it stands now, they still haven't refunded the washer from the first order, they did refund the second order and price matched the third order. However, they've lost the washer and dryer from the third order and I'm going on two weeks waiting for it. And I filed a claim against my credit card company for the first order. It's not my fault the washer was lost and it's been a month since they charged me. I also reported them to the BBB for how they've handled this.

I'll never order an appliance from Samsung direct again.

Have the Samsung one and am happy with it. Don't overload and you will be fine; comes out dry. Yes, it does take longer for dry cycle, but it is using a heat pump and is extremely efficient compared to a normal dryer. It shows the cost and normally uses only about 1.1kw total energy for both wash and dry, all on a normal 110v plug. It uses around 20gallons of water and I mostly use the cold water setting and no issues. Have to keep the lint filter clean, and it does take a couple minutes to clean it out fully after every load. This is a great price; paid much more for it couple months ago.

I'd agree
Great for tiny homes or apartments
But you suffer on time

We have 2, replaced a washer and dryer with 2 of these. They work fine. People complaining most likely are over loading the machines and for some reason have an urgent sense to do laundry in under 90 minutes (procrastinators)
Love the flexibility of running 2 loads in the morning, by time home both sets are fully washed and dried. Then doing the same before bed and waking up with 2 fully cleaned loads.
You'll see similar complaints on half the dryers out there and it's bc people jam 2x the capacity in and then wonder why it doesn't dry
Let's be very honest here, the fundamental aspect of a dryer hasn't changed in 40 years lol, people overloaded them then...they over load them now.
