I like these pens a lot but if there is any gloss to the paper or even oils from your hands on the paper, they'll mess up.

How long would it take for them to dry out in storage? Maybe refrigeration would help?

I really don't like these pens. I'm a lefty with a weird grip but they constantly stop writing and require a few strokes to get going again... sometimes. Try the Jetstream instead.

I agree. These are good pens, but the Jetstream is even better if you're left-handed. I love my Jetstream pens. I have to guard them very carefully at work.
