Eh, it's a flat rate. Kills it for 1 or 2 dozen, but once you get above that, the math starts to work again

That's a sweet deal if you don't care about logos.

Golfballs.com is reliable as well as an authorized retailer for Titleist.

so the ball in the picture is of the 2023 model but the product video suggests the 2021 model. I guess the answer is it could be either.

Do love how their logo's in the picture are sleek and could be used for alignment. The ones you'll get will probably be big and round.

Not a bad deal if you need balls but if you don't, the 4 dozen for the price of 3 in the spring is always the way to go.

For value, the 3 for the price of 4 isn't the way to go. Not buying ProV1s at all is the way to go. The performance difference between them and something like the Srixon Z-Star is negligible, but you can find deals on the Srixons for $25 a dozen at times. The Maxfli Tours perform equally as well, and those are always 48 for $100. Previous generation Bridgestone Tour B's can be found for $30 or less too, and I find those to perform better than ProV1s.

And these are all tour level balls, which ignores the fact that over 95% of the golfing population doesn't know how to control spin anyway, and is wasting money buying ANY tour ball with a urethane cover. Unless they're breaking 90 (playing by the actual rules, not the weekend warrior breakfast ball/gallery rule/free drops nonsense), they'd do just as well with a 24 pack of Top Flite Bombs for $20.

well I agree if you shot over 90 regularly, it doesn't matter.

For anyone around that level, I recommend starting with a good ball and working your way down in quality as you lose balls. Also, switch to worse balls on tough holes.
