eBay charges tire disposal fee without disposing anything. Never buy from eBay or pay the markup that you shouldn't.
PS: When installing your newly arrived tires, your installer will charge you again the disposal fee because they will actually dispose. Yes, again. Now, how many times do you want to pay it?

Did this a few years ago, when fine. I had to call caradvise while at the tire shop because the associate at the shop couldn't see the coupon to apply it to my order.

Were you not able to show Disposal fee has been prepaid, so the installer could waive it?
I used this coupon on a beater car and it went well, not sure what all the people here are complaining about.
I found the cheapest tires that were brand name, used the coupon and shipped to the installer, in my medium sized city it was only Firestone who participated. Did not get charged disposal fees twice or anything else like that. (Though it's like $2 per tire, even if I got charged for that twice who cares when you save $100 or so on the installation anyway.)
What I paid through eBay covered everything, no extra fees or surprise charges. Didn't have to use the warranty so I can't speak to that part of it.
My favorite hack is find the tires you want at the price and have Discount Tire match it … now you have a place that can rotate and balance and a place that will warranty the tires. If they don't carry the tribe these is a reason why
