Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus is coming to replace the Delta 2. Similar specs with same 1024Wh but higher charging cycles (4000), faster charging, higher wattage (AC output), ability to hook up to 4 extra batteries, higher solar charging wattage (500Wx2), faster UPS timing (10ms), a little more quiet, etc. Anyway, not worth the upgrade or the premium initially but should drive the prices of Delta 2 down, maybe to around $400. It may not come down much since Delta 2 stock is pretty low to begin with.

These seem to just keep coming down in price. I'm going to hold out, my river pro is still going and serves my needs. Great deal though.

Just got shipping notice that it "left shipper facility" but on fedex it says label created.

Are you referring to the extra batteries ? This Delta 2 is an independent unit. Are you wanting to hook up the extra batteries from Delta 3 Max Plus to this unit ? They are not compatible due to the connection/interface being very different. Even if the connectors are the same, they wouldn't be compatible. Very similar to Delta 1 series and Delta 2 or Delta 2 Max are not compatible chaining wise. Unfortunately, you cannot mix and match different series, even if it is within the same generation. So definitely it wouldn't be compatible between generations.

Maybe not until Prime Days 2025 unless LiFePO4 cell prices come down dramatically. The improvement is not enough to pay for the cost differences. I would rather have 2 Delta 2 at half price than a Delta 3 Plus at full price.

I have been looking into solar for my 17 year old camper/trailer. Having a really hard time committing to the investment cost. At $469, this seems like a decent value proposition for my scenario. I could still even mount panels to the roof and jumper down to the Delta 2 when parked. So tempting.

Use a 20 lb propane tank (with adapter hose if needed) and it will be much much cheaper than using canisters. A 20lb tank can be refilled for ~$17.
That's what I use to cook as heat to cook uses too much battery juice. I run an e-kooler for 60 days straight every summer on four 100W panels via my battery.

three questions: How long would something like this run at what might be considered the max safe output? and how long to charge from empty? And what battery voltage are these based on?

interesting idea. you can just fold in half (4 panels in one). you will just get less wattage from it. You can see the input from the app. just make sure no one will break into your car and steal it. Also, unsure about the impact to the battery if in high temp (in the car).

The production capacity of Li-ion batteries was 2.7 times that of the worldwide demand in 2023. The price of these products will continue declining until some of the manufacturers quit the industry. I'd wait till then or when I need one immediately
