For gaming I'd stick with a 4060 unless you really love Alienware.
The 300 nit screen on our Alienware X14 is perfectly fine, it's just no OLED.

Oled is in a totally different realm. It has its own pro and con but just by a glimpse you know it's an oled.

I don't want an OLED in my laptop really.
edit - There's the A14 but I'd rather the G14.

Our Alienware X14 (3050 model I got for $620 after cashback) is built like a tank, I think you could knock someone out using it like a weapon - but the wifi died already, so I'm not sure the benefit of the heavy build, other than knocking someone out with it.

The battery life was terrible, even when running @ 60hz and in a non-performance mode. Fans were spinning like crazy when I was web surfing on my bed.
It seems each leap in GPU tiers is about $4-500 give or take. I'm not going to get suckered by a low powered 4070 for $1600 when I can get a 125w 4060 for $1100.
Not a fan of Alienware. Has been overpriced junk since the 90's. Took a look at this since I'm cruising for a 14" that suits my needs. If this had a full wattage 4060 I'd probably just buy it regardless of the branding but no...the search continues.
