BB Open box has been hit or miss. I got Excellent last time which didn't even have the charger. What is real world battery life on this?

These laptops have been outperforming Apple laptops for battery life, and coming close in many aspects to performance. The charger? Not that big of a deal to go to Amazon and get a 45 Watt or more charger (not required) to charge on the USB-C

Open box prices are about $150 more here for some reason.

I'm seeing $899 on Dell's website for the X-Elite version with 1TB SSD. Seems like a pretty solid price

FYI - Intel Lunar Lake laptops coming.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d...e=youtu.be

Marketing and their own testing says it's significantly better than ARM and AMD CPUs.

Looks like the Blue Team won since it has better efficiency, more power and FULL compatibility.

Remember when the snapdragon processor "won" before it came out, too?

Loving AI so far but anyone has ran into any incompatibility so far? Maybe some programs won't run on these Snapdragon CPU's? And what about GPU? Please share if you can.

Lol yes. well it was good but we knew new intel was coming

granted the test data are all in the marketing booth but I have high hopes

I'll still be on my Macbook as primary but good to see x86 trying to keep up

Check the youtube reviews, GPU sucks, not great for gaming.

normal users would be fine but there are app issues you need to google and search for your specific app.

there's a web page out there on what apps are "native" and for me, it's fine 95% because I have some VPN and VMware usage but I'd get lunar lake personally now and never have any app issues.

Didn't you just say you're a MacBook user? You're over here talking how gaming sucks on this laptop, but you use a Mac. Perhaps gaming like online solitaire runs great on your Mac?

I agree, its 100% worth waiting for Intel's Lunar Lake (Core Ultra 200) in a few weeks.
Lunar Lake should be better than Qualcomm's CPUs in most ways, you dont even need to trust Intel for that, the technical changes (new node, new CPU and GPU architectures, on package memory, etc) alone make it clear that Lunar Lake is going to be the chip to beat on the Windows side. And it will have perfect compatibility with apps and games, unlike Qualcomm/WoA.

I am a Mac user for primary day to day use. But that doesn't exclude me from using a Windows device or be willing to learn and be knowledgeable about other platforms.

QCoom SNG chip game performance has been tested and confirmed to be not as good as AMD and Intel platforms. Maybe you haven't read the memo or the crap load of benchmarks to know this. lol.

Maybe you'll realize that understanding both sides of the camp means you actually know what you're talking about someday instead making silly comments like you did shake headshake headshake head throwing shade with solitaire comments. GOOD ONE! haha.

I'm not a simp for either platform. I just know what makes me super effective for ME and that's why I use Mac and Apple Eco as primary and Windows as secondary cuz my Windows devices are cheaper and throw-away/hand-me-down-to-others when I get a new toy as the tech changes.

I carry a XP13 1260p secondary, it's really garbage on battery life and performance is crap compared to M3 chip and runs so damn hot for no reason. I can't wait to switch this thing out for a Lunar Lake later. $1400 pre-order for XPS 13 Lunar Lake though... expensive secondary carry.

Have a wonderful day!!! haha yummyyummyyummyyummyyummyyummy

But it's going to be more expensive as well.
