So $4.44 per booster pack vs the tcgplayer low price of 4.93(+ship) Unopened low trove price is $48 right now on tcgplayer.

Depends. In terms of playing by the rules, you need a minimum of 60 cards. You are also only allowed to play with 2 ink colors. The trove comes with 8 boosters and is meant more for an expansion. If you play by sealed deck, you only need 6 boosters to play. A booster has 6 commons (1 of each ink color), 3 uncommon (3 out of the 6 colors), 2 rarity cards, and 1 foil (random color). If you are starting off, you might want to get a starter deck with the trove.

They way under printed the first round of these cards and now they've flooded the market to the point they spill out of a Target every time the doors open.

The flubbed launch totally put me off the game, I never went back to it after being unable to get any boosters.

Cardshoplive has the newest trove slightly cheaper if you spend enough to get free shipping. This is not a bad deal since this set is out of print now.
