I don't recommend this at all. It's insanely difficult to clean thoroughly. There's a ton of nooks and crannies inside that is hard to reach so scum/mildew builds up easily. Unless you have really small hands, there's way better water dispensers out there

Don't be lazy. Wash your pet bowl every other day and refill it daily. They're family !

Same here and we tried with kitten food which is smaller grain size. Not sure why the downvotes, the product is advertised for food as well as water. Helpful feedback in my opinion. We kept them and use for water only now.

I melted the plastic tank in the dishwasher, be careful. Picked up another and will simply hand wash it. Thanks.

Got this 3 years ago for $20 (1 gal size) and its so nice not having to constantly refill water. We only wash up to the water line so don't have an issue with difficult to reach areas. Just hand wipe it when we fill it.

This is terrible for Cats. They hate standing water and will only drink it if they have to.
On the other hand, they are naturally drawn to running water and will drink it much more.
If you have a Cat, get a fountain instead and don't put it near their food.

Look through the pictures. One shows both water and food side by side - on a countertop, no less. It's disgusting that some people allow their cats to walk around on countertops after they've been scratching away in their E.coli infested litter boxes. 🤢
