Clearance at Costco + $400 off in cart brings it to $1599.97. I know an LG fridge is a questionable choice but the features for the price is pretty good to me. Duel Ice makers and the convertible drawer that can turn into a snack drawer for the kids adds value. No handles is nice because the area between the fridge and our island is narrow and it is one less thing sticking out. 10 year warranty on the compressor brings me ease. Our zip code is in So Cal area, availability might vary.

Yea from my research it has one of the newer designed compressors in it instead of the problematic ones LG was known for. And it has a dual ice maker but not the "craft" ice maker that has been plagued with issues. I was suppressed it was rated so high since it is an LG. I personally also like that it doesn't have the instaview door like most LG fridges do now. I think whatever you gain from not opening a full door you loos 2x for having glass as an insulator in the door.

Many complaints on costco website itself. The middle drawer seems to be flawed. The lights inside are not sufficient. The water dispenser is not a straight forward and doesn't have a grate to capture minimal spells

This deal is back online today. Just snag one to replace my old one. I've seen the model at Home Depot but with the handle version and it looks great. It's 1499.97

planning for new house for end of nov, is it worth to buy now and store it? or wait for thanksgiving for better deal, for similar price, do not want to spend more on this.
