I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop soon, but am feeling a bit paralyzed on pulling the trigger on any laptop with Intel processors (of which, the majority of deals are on Intel based laptops these days). I know there have been BIOS updates pushed and there's a few utilities running around that are suppose to check for issues, but if you were in my shoes, would you still opt for an Intel laptop or should I only consider AMD laptops with AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX / X3D chips?

Im using an intel laptop right now and im pretty happy so far... meh its up to each person. i got the legion 4080 i9 13th gen from bhphotovideo and its been fine since i got it. till my wife got mad and threw it on the floor, but hey its still working with a cracked chassis.
but then again, for years intel was the best in the game and only recently did amd overtake them. intel will try to claw its way back but it never really had to compete before it seems like. im glad they giving them a challenge.
