Anyone get the following error while trying to redeem the code? (Redeem 12month personal to a current family plan) "Please come back later to redeem your product key. Error Code: UncaughtClientError"

I'm very interested in this issue because I want to buy a code for a Microsoft 365 Family subscription
I'm interested in Office 365 Family but don't currently have it. If I sign up for the 1 month free trial of Office 365 Family, would I be able to buy this and stack 9 months onto the free trial for Family? Or would I need the paid Family product to stack?
Wondering if you found something? I'm thinking on doing the same.

I had a similar error. I contacted Microsoft support who told me to go through https://redeem.microsoft.com/ which worked.

Doesn't work for me.
Called support, and the guy said you can't redeem personal code on a family plan which is BS and I corrected him. Then he said you cannot redeem a product key from 3rd party since you originally bought your 365 on the Microsoft website, so I asked for the supervisor. The supervisor said Microsoft is aware of this error and is working on fixing it.
Not sure if it is true, but the support is useless.

That's very unfortunate. I'm glad that I haven't bought a code yet since I need it for a family plan
Purchased 2 keys and received after a few hours. I did have to contact Support because the email only had one key. They were really fast and emailed the other in seconds. I use Office on my Mac, PC, and iPad so this is the best option to have all the apps available.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't work for me. It let me enter my code and I clicked continue and ended up on a new page that says
"Get started with Microsoft products
Already entered your product key? Install apps from your Microsoft account"
I confirmed that my account is still Basic, not Personal. The link on this page to redeem gets me back in the recurring account payment loop.
This is how I got it to work for me. I removed all payment methods on my account with the exception of a virtual account with an expiration date beyond the renewal date. I had to do this as it wouldn't allow me to select the card I wanted. I then approved the recurring subscription and after a couple of attempts it finally processed and updated my account to Personal (12 month). After that I went back and edited my account to turn off recurring billing. Now my subscription will expire on 10/19/2025.
I think I'll leave it like this for a few weeks before I try to extend it further with offers like this.

There's probably also another group that get it for work compatibility reasons.
If someone doesn't fall into one of those two categories, then yes, free versions make sense.

CAUTION others - may not be scam but things do not seem to be smooth.
PS: Just noted you are still waiting for the correct code (15 months)? So even that was not quite accurate (that you received the code in 10 hours)?
PPS: Just received my code - and it was correct 15 months!
