Maybe people value "Leica" name at around $300?
Way too expensive for me, don't care about name, care about results, lots of equal or better cameras in terms of results. For those who have the money and want the Leica experience, more power to them.

Relatively old tech for a premium price. The colors are nice, but it isn't competitive in today's market. If you want punchy colors you have pentax and fuji, if you want a workhorse you have sony.
