Saw this offer on multiple chase cards. Language is a little unclear as to whether two payments with the first being small and the second being $50 would qualify or if you need 2x $50 payments, but here it is. I got it 3/6. Word is there might be a VZ version floating around but I have not seen it personally.

Yes. You can pay manually with a card and keep your autopay discount.
Not true at all, I have my auto-pay set to a debit card that has nothing on it and I manually pay with my credit card before my bill is due. I still recieve the autopay discount.
The autopay discount does require bank ACH or debit card payments but you can log in and pay all or a portion of the bill with a credit card before the automatic payment is triggered.

Yeah I have heard the Verizon version is almost identical but I did not have that one personally.

Funny to see my OP edited by SD to add the SD tracking link for a Chase page. Don't know that I have ever seen that.

"50$ On a subscription purchase in their title" sounds like marketing team had signing up for a new line etc in mind

Sounds to be like you have to make two purchases totaling $50. I wonder if I can overpay on my business account.

Didn't T-mobile change their policy so now if you use a credit card, the autopay discount isn't applied? I thought you only get it now with debit cards or direct bank payments.

Yeah I could read it as two payments TOTAL of 50 or more, or two payments of 50 each or more. The language on the almost identical VZ offer is very clear in saying 2 payments of 50 each or more, so one could argue that is an indicator that you need two 50+ payments here also given how similar they are OR you could argue given how similar they are, the distinct different language lends itself to a total of 50 across two payments for TMO. Personally, I would rather just not risk it and for me, I would just prepay 50 twice since it is not like I lose the money I prepay if I keep the service, but it is open to interpretation at this stage.
