You can. You just need to put your ssn and sole proprietorship as the business type and only you as the employee
Something's wrong with this deal description, says $95 annual fee and immediately after, No annual fee.

I think someone got their wires crossed between Ink Preferred and Ink Unlimited. Which one is the increased SUB actually for?
You don't need to. You can own a business with your ssn as sole proprietorship type. There is nothing faking about it. You can intend to start something and start slow after getting the card as well.

How is it possible for them to give a business card to non-business? Need EIN number on application

it says specifically it's for business, why you would ask that question is quite interesting, if you have a business, you have an ein # if self employed ask if you can use your ss # as a dba, or are u an employee and sol?

I'm in MA, and annual electricity costs are about $1800 and gas heat is about $1500. In the past, I used to send in a check after getting the monthly bill. My utility companies don't wildly advertise the fact that they also process credit card payments, fee-free. I now routinely sock away (i.e., prepay) significant amounts ahead of time in both those accounts. It doesn't really feel like manufactured spending, and it's strangely gratifying to get utility bills every month that say "no payment due".

On a side note, a less obvious bonus to having your first Ink card is that you'll eventually qualify for referral bonuses. If you set it up right with a spouse, friend, or even someone you DM'ed on Slickdeals (ahem), you can each refer the snot out of each other and the rewards are significant.
Aren't they limiting the number of open accounts you can have and how many you can open in a period of time? How many have you opened in the past year?

I have opened 3 ink cards in the last 19 months (2 of them ink unlimited....Chase has 4 ink brands). I referred my wife for hers (I got 40k bonus), and she later referred me back for my third ink card, where she got a referral bonus as well.
Up until last week the Chase Ink referral bonuses were 40k each, and your referee could pick from any of the 4 ink cards and you would still get the same bonus. As of Sept 4, the bonus has gone back to 20k, though.

Amazing. I'm just getting started. Can't believe I've been sleeping on the Ink all these years. It's like the only card with minimal limitations on SUB with no impact to your personal credit. I assume you have to have a paid personal card (Sapphire) to transfer to airlines right?

Yeah, the other great thing about the Ink is no annual fee, and yet it can provide primary auto coverage for international car rental. Not sure if that's a unicorn, but I was glad to find that out.

I wouldn't know about about UR transfers, as we always take the cash and run. We have all the the air miles we need from airline loyalty card SUBs.

Chase is great if you pick your spots carefully, interleave business cards with trifecta personal cards, and play by the rules. We also each did the Chase $900 checking bonus at the beginning of last year, so have picked up over $6k real money from them in total since then for not doing anything much different than we normally would. We'll be eligible for that again in 1Q 2025. Check previous SD posts for how.

I applied and got approval, this is my 2nd ink unlimited within 24 months.
However, it didn't mention anything about the $900 bonus in approval screen or email confirmation, is that the same for you guys? for the first ink unlimited card, it showed the spend requirement progress bar in the app.

eta: new card showed up right away in Chase app, but no spend requirement progress bar yet

You won't get any mention of the bonus during the app except for the first page. The bonus tracker didn't show up until a day later for me. It wasn't there immediately.

is there any way to check our business credit score?

Anyone know how long you should wait before applying again after getting turned down?

I have a business and one business card. that card was nearly maxed out last time I applied, but it was always paid on time. Ive since paid off half the balance and would like to try again. Smilie

It's much simpler filing the application as a sole proprietorship. If you sell anything (including services), you're running a business even if it's just on facebook marketplace, ebay, etc. PM if you need specifics.
pm you.
