It's $934 now with the BUYMORELENOVO code. If a beautiful 120Hz OLED display and an extra 32GB isn't important to you, then you can save an extra $145 but to me, OLED and 32GB is worth way more than $145.

64GB ram is overkill for most of the people and based on that, the other deal is attractive. But, there is Hell & Heaven difference between a 60 Hz 1080p 100% sRGB IPS display and this 120 Hz 2.8K OLED display and I would just go for this model just for that. The additional 32GB of Ram is added bonus.

Do they normally have decent sales around Black Friday? Planning on getting a new laptop by the end of the year and willing to wait.

It's WSDEAL8, not WSDEALS8. When you enter the correct code, it replaces the WSDEALS code automatically.

I thought that was an Intel thing. I'm a bit out of the game.
The Lenovo specs do say "2 x USB-C® (Thunderbolt™ 4, USB 40Gbps) with power delivery 3.0 & DisplayPort 1.4", so who knows? I thought TB4 was Intel-only also, but people use USB4 and TB4 synonymously.

"You can easily replace or repair your system memory, SSD, battery, keyboard, and WWAN"

Seems to imply that WLAN is not replaceable. Which is not so surprising, but is annoying.
Can an M.2 2242 SSD fit in the WWAN slot?
Still an excellent deal regardless

Not a slickdeals. The integrated 780M graphic card is weak for gaming, the Ryzen 7 8840HS is so so, and the 64GB RAM is overkill. I wouldn't pay more than $650-700 for it.
This is not a gaming laptop.

That's what they said about 128k/1mb/2gb/4gb/8gb and look at everyone complaining about it. The P series Lenovos are workstation laptops, so not usually for the average user that just browses Facebook, but more ram is better than less for ram hungry browsers.

My response was to someone comparing this deal to another P14s deal for $850 but only had 32GB RAM and an IPS display. I was mentioning although the deal is expired it could be had for $934. Sorry if you mistook that to mean this deal could be had for $934.

Either:
1. They pay for thunderbolt. You can have thunderbolt with AMD, just that the license is expensive so laptop brands rarely do it.
2. They make a mistake. Sometimes laptop brands just copy paste the specs between intel and AMD models of the same laptop without a second thought.
