Be careful. This laptop says it has iris xe graphics, but it does not. It has regular integrated UHD graphics. I received mine from the previous deal 2 days ago, and I'm returning it

I know the display is a weak /washed out experience, but is it at least IPS? can I charge via USB C?

At least it's better than Chromebooks that ain't that useful.
It's ok for a throwaway office laptop.
Only thing is no touch screen so I'll get an old dell laptop instead

IPS is too much for $200. Usbc as well. I have hardly ever seen any $200 laptop comes with these functions. i suspect it is a TN. Especially usb-c charging. That is limited to usb4 and lightning which is a pretty high cost. You can only find them in outdated medium high laptop rather than these newer low end ones.

I read somewhere that iris Xe needs a dual channel ram, so single slot shows UHD and adding extra stick may show Xe, I have this laptop, screen is good and the laptop is snappy. SSD has single slot so to upgrade need to replace it. Only extra slot for RAM.
I had acer aspire 3 i5 but the screen was trash so returned it.

The display is good for the price but at an angle. Does not charge through USB C.

There are type-c to 4.5x3.0mm dc cables or adapters on Amazon so that you can use your 45w+ gan charger to charge this laptop, I used to do the same to my HP laptop.

You're not gonna do better for this price. If I were in the market for a cheap ass laptop that gets the job done I'd snag this in a heartbeat.

That's true for i5 or i7.
i3 only has UHD iGPU no matter it's running with single or dual channel memory config.
