As someone who has been riding electric skateboards to work often, wear a helmet! 18MPH is faster than you think.
especially standing up. It's remarkable how fast your head smashed the ground when you are upright.

Are the tires on this as hard to replace as with a Bird? I never want to go through that nightmare again

What did you end up doing? I have a Gotrax with a rear flat, I tried to remove the tire to attempt to repair the tube and I simply couldn't remove the tire. I ended up saying screw it and bought this on Amazon for $40 instead.

Now I'm just fingers crossed and hope the front wheel never goes flat.
I would only buy a scooter with solid tires. There are some decent choices with suspension for a reasonably smooth ride.

I'd want to use an electric skateboard, but it seems extremely dangerous, even with a helmet. In fact, for me it's probably a lot more dangerous to use an electric skateboard with a helmet than an electric scooter without a helmet.

Same thing with my Genesis scooter. I end up trashing it because no one carried that sized tube Tire.

Decent price, if you're over 240lbs or so this isn't going to get you up most hills.
I'm 260, any suggestions?

Wonder if there's a way to tell the health of the battery like you would on a phone?

Also, $35 for a 3 year warranty from Allstate doesn't seem too bad of an option
The question is has anyone gone through Allstate to get a replacement today? Ask a lot of questions and you got to go through hoops to get the warranty to work. Anyone have any experience of Allstate?

Before COVID people were getting in accidents all the time downtown Denver and hitting their face, breaking out teeth, etc... when you get in accidents on these, you tend to fall forward

Yeah, these can be really dangerous. There's definitely an argument for a full face helmet when wearing one, as awkward as it can be.

100% agree with both of you. I know one 17 year old kid passed in his sleep the next morning after falling from a scooter and hitting his head. Another guy is now divorced because he doesn't recognize his wife and kids any more after falling from a scooter and he had his helmet on. Going too fast and how you fall play a huge factor.

I had experience with them with a faulty TV. It's exactly what you think, they want to replace your tv with the cheapest option available. I had a mid level Sony 55in 4ktv and they tried offering me a ONN WAL-MART tv that was at least 1/3 of the price haha
