I'm looking forward to playing this after work tonight. I don't usually pay full retail for games like this, but Astro's Playroom was free and absolutely phenomenal. I wanted to support the developers behind this. And the reviews are ever better than I had been hoping for. And the price is already $10 off the typical game. Should be a blast!
lol, so any platformer that isn't Mario is a knockoff? Is every FPS that isn't Doom a knockoff too? Very enlightening.
The reviews are off the charts for this game - looking forward to playing it with my kiddo

What exactly is this game?
It's a platformer featuring PlayStation characters. Think Mario on PlayStation.

Some sort of PlayStation ad they made into a game. If I want to play a platformer I'll play Mario not this Sony knockoff

You guys can do whatever you want with your money, but most of us are in here because we believe this game is going to be fantastic and actually worth the cost. The Astro game before this was included for free with the PS5 and was an absolutely delightful surprise for most of us. For many of us, it may even be the best overall game released so far in this generation.

Getting a deal is great, but if you're looking to play this one right away, waiting a couple months to save a few dollars seems silly.
I understand ! I personally don't like to have a back log which is why I am waiting. but will def buy this in a few months

Solid deal! I already pre-ordered the digital straight from Sony though. Kind of makes me want to wait on future pre-orders. This was about 15% off on launch! I thought physical game sales had tiny margins, I wonder if Costco is making money at this price.

Didn't even know this was coming I've been so out of the loop. Confused about chronology of the series. So I've played Rescue Mission on PSVR and it is incredible, I've downloaded Playroom but haven't tried it (is that VR too?) If this plays in VR on the PSVR2 I may just have to wait because VR takes these games to another level IMO.

My 5 year old absolutely LOVES the Astro's playroom that came pre-loaded on our PS5 so I went ahead and bought this one for him as a pre-order deluxe version. I plan to support the developer of this game since they are the developers we should be supporting instead of developers like EA. My 5 year old has played Astro's playroom so many times he knows it like the back of his hand now.
Anyway, downloading it as we speak to the PS5 so it will be ready for the kids as soon as they get home from school. This is a game I am totally comfortable with them playing without any hesitation. More than I can say for a lot of games nowadays.
Also tons of early reviews are essentially saying this is in the running for game of the year already.

It doesn't support VR, unfortunately. Seems like Sony has pretty much abandoned the PSVR2 at this point. If you liked Rescue Mission you will love this, though.

People don't think that will happen and I agree with them. My guess: maybe $50 as BF sale for digital copy or I'm sure some stores may run general B2G1 free promos which means $40 if you want to buy 3 games...

It not silly but rather dumb esp when already showing huge interest. Putting too much value in little savings over being 100% entertained from the get go. To be Krab or not to be Krab is a fair question.

I think very few Sony 1st party titles have qualified for the Target deal over the years.
