My wife drove FAR based on one store quoting stock at another store. The quote matched the APP but was wrong.
Two places to check stock in the Costco app. Buttons are at the bottom
1) [Explore] [Ship to warehouse] and [Explore] [Ship to warehouse] [check nearby warehouses] give hopeful leads, saying "In stock" for stores that had stock in the recent(?) past. Probably over 6 hour old data. I think it's yesterday's stock.
2 [Warehouse] shows more timely data, showing "out of stock" soon after I knew it to be out.
The 2 work together. [Explore] gives you a list of candidates to eliminate one-by-one with [Warehouse].

Use [Warehouse] instead of [Explore]. Works for me, showing the accurate "Out of stock", anyway.
That's so rude.
You should say "that's OK, you can ship it to me". Managers have power. The website shows them available (at full price). The Manager wants to fix it.

I'm not a complainer, but that's way past OK. Compare timecodes on your and the employee's receipts. Who was first? Check that they in-fact took their 15 minutes overlapping. They probably just hid them to buy it later.
I want to say "They took your money, they owe you the cameras" but I guess there's that delay before Visa actually pays them.
Harsh.
A compromise is that you each get one.
