I was looking for this's soundbar and came across this whopping deal and thought I would share. I bought it yesterday and by evening it was sold out but then I checked today morning and it's back in stock. My local shops and other online retailers all have it posted for $1199. So $699.95 for this bar I think is amazing.

It is by like 120 bucks not worth upgrading if you already own the 9.1 . If you don't have neither then the bar 1000 is newer. Also despite the name 9.1 sounds, it's actually 5.1.4 channel compared to the 7.1.4 channel on the bar 1000

The JBL Bar 1000 is a touch better than the JBL Bar 9.1 overall. The 1000 is a newer model with some extra features, including Spotify Connect support. Unlike the 9.1, it has a dialogue enhancement tool and two extra HDMI In ports. Sound-wise, there isn't much difference between these bars, even though the 1000 comes with two extra surround channels.
Also I read on the new models they fixed all the firmware issues people were experiencing with the first iterations.
