Always love this deal when it shows up.

Remember, you can get around the ten dollar minimum by adding something else to your order. Going to the page that asks for the credit card. Copying the URL for that page, and opening a new tab. Then go back to the original tab and delete the other item. Return to the second tab and complete the checkout. It will only have the persil on the order confirmation page

Consumer Reports always ranks Tide and Persil as the top detergents, with one beating the other on specific stains. They're usually tied but if I remember correctly, Tide edged out Persil by just a little in their last report. Tide is the top seller in the US while Persil is tops in Europe.

This detergent looks pretty impressive. Most detergents have 3 enzymes at most but this has 4 (amylase, cellulase and mannanase for carbs, and protease for proteins). Enzymes are good for breaking down organic stains, e.g. food, blood, grass and chocolate. However, some experts also say that it may degrade natural fibers such as cotton, wool and silk because they are also made up of proteins and carbohydrates.

You are using too much. This is a heavily concentrated enzyme cleaner. You need like a tablespoon per medium load, maybe 2 for large loads.

The heavily perfumed odor of Persil is too strong for me.

I love this detergent. It cleans as well as any detergent and I like the smell. .09 per oz and a little cleans a lot. Thanks OP!

Yeah that is way too much and not good for your washer for sure, builds up gunk. If you look inside the cap (on the big bottle at least), there are lines labeled 1,2,3,4 and you can get by with 1 for most loads, 2 for sports stuff etc.

I hope you're kidding. The instructions say to use Line 1 for regular loads and Line 2 for large or extra dirty loads. That's like ⅕-¼ of the cap.

Id use the highest bar ( 4 or 5 ) damn I I've been wasting so much detergent. Ok I'll try number 1 and will be a life changer if it cleans just as welll

Note the Oxi version has extra bleaching and deodorizing ingredients so it only cleans 20 loads while the other two cleans 25 loads.

Yeah, not only are you wasting money, you're also making your clothes less clean. Dirt is trapped in the detergent which is then rinsed out. If you use too much detergent, it's harder to rinse out so the dirt stays stuck in your clothes.
