I bought this a few days ago and am enjoying The Ascent a lot. What other games like this would you recommend? I really like the RPG but shooter aspect if it matters. Isometric, 3rd person, FPS, doesn't matter. Also does not need to be a shooter either.

This was a fantastic game. Top-down cyberpunk with upgrades, armor, and fairly interesting quests. If you don't use the metro system, you do quite a bit of walking to get to areas (and return at various points) but the music was great. I am hoping the developers follow-up with a part 2.

The atmosphere and environment in this game is amazing. If you like cyberpunk you'll definitely enjoy. There's a discord for it where you can find other players to play co-op

If you're open to first person (not topdown) then for sure Cyberpunk 2077, maybe Ghostrunner. I'll add Rage 2 for your consideration too as a fun FPS - moreso wasteland than pure cyberpunk but still plenty of similar elements I think.

I'm enjoying it too. Plays a bit like Warhammer 40k Martyr (which I totally enjoyed as well).

Remnant 2 is everything that is good about Remnant 1, but better. It is excellent. I think it is still on game pass if you can get access to that for a month.

I think there was a deal for the ultimate edition of Cyberpunk posted recently. But adamantly believe the game is worth even full price. I paid $25 (+$30 DLC) and feel like it was free. So many hours it literally cost me pennies per hour lol

Thanks for the rec on Remnant, I'll check it out. Always looking for similar games.

Have you tried the Shadowrun games yet? Slightly different vibe, but satisfying in similar ways.

FYI, remnant is nothing like cyberpunk. It is a hack and slash shooter on rails, with some light exploration and puzzles. Super fun though, just not similar to cyberpunk.

I played this game on Gamepass and beat it in a week. Very good game for a top down shooter. For $1.80 well worth the purchase.
