The marketing genius who came up with this.
Bonded leather is no more leather than wood veneer over pressboard is wood.
Nothing beats a quality leather, except for cost of the material. And for those who care about the environment. If I toss a "vegan leather" surface out, it breaks down into micro-plastics that float around for a millennea. Real leather is biodegradeable, it will decompose andl return to the earth from which it came.

Genuine leather is the next worst. I would never buy either of those types of leather.
Split leather, top grain, and finally full grain is the best in that order. I would buy any of these.

Pros: It is quite as comfortable as any ZG chairs go. It looks nice and not so bulky as gigantic massage chairs. The adjusted pillow is definitely nice. The light massage feature is decent, and heat is strong. Cushioning is not very noticeable, though.
Cons: I have quite a few cons, but it could be just me neatpicking. It's a great chair, but since I had paid so much for it, I wish some things were better.
First, it sits quite tall. I am 5'10", and my feet do not touch the ground while sitting upright. This makes it quite awkward when I have company and just want to sit up and talk.
Second, as you can imagine, massage is very whimpy. Don't get it expecting a great massage. It is better than nothing.
Third, adjustable lumbar support is very poorly designed. I simply do not use this feature. Also, it only lasts for 15 minutes and shuts down automatically (and sits me back up). There are no options for longer sessions.
Fourth, heat can get too much. After 5 minutes, I have to turn it off.
Fifth, there is no place to put the remote. Really? This is just a lazy design. A few times, it got into the cracks while sitting up, and it almost crushed the remote. A serious design flaw.
One commenter asked about ease of moving this. The answer is no. I would not be moving this thing around the house.
