Hold! We WILL see Snapdragon continue to drop, especially with AMD and Intel putting out 20+ hr battery life casual use chips.

Yes, computer hardware prices drop over time, this is not unique to any product/brand. Wait another year or so and Lunar Lake will be much cheaper. Or wait another 2 years, or 5, or even 10.

Just saying... The Ryzen AI chips will be in all manufacturers before the end of the year. I'm not saying hold for 2 years. Just anyone thinking about dropping 1k that might not "need" it yet, it should drop a bit more before years end. We're so close to new mobile tech+holiday sales that now is a silly time to buy. In other words, no shit Sherlock, it's understood but Hold is for the imminent charge, not a 5 year hold.

Galaxy book is at 899 with Super Amoled display. Of course that is using UFS based storage but does that matter unless you are pounding the system for something intense like gaming or something else. Not sure if this is that great a deal. I am expecting this to go down a lot by BF timeframe.

I think App compatibility is the key and I am also expecting 2nd gen on say TSMC's N3P to be significantly better. So I would skip the snapdragon based laptop for now and go for AMD/Intel one this year or Macbook.

14" Edge4 is $854 with EDU/EPP discount. Asus S15 is $945 on Amazon. Both have OLED displays.

I'm holding till Black Friday. Although open box Lenovo 7x for $800 at BestBuy is tempting. Hopefully M4 will join the competition by that time.
