Good deal, but it does not have a braided cord, that is a mistake on the Walmart site. You can clearly see in the photos this has a standard vinyl cord. Here is the actual description from the site about the cord: "Decor – The 6-inch braided fabric power cord comes in a heather white pattern that can add a personalized touch to your home decor or office space. The plug and outlets for this unit feature a corresponding white finish to further accentuate the color scheme."

No joules rating listed. Wish it had that. I do see the word Protected in the pics.

Wow. You're right. Zero joules rating but the product is even called a surge protector on the page.

No joules, rates for 15 amps only. Cable looks like 16 or 18 gauge. Would not use outdoors, probably why it's on sale.

I greatly prefer flat 90 degree plugs since the thick cords of surge protectors don't fit behind furniture.

The specs are sketchy, but what really puts me off is the mention of "decor".

Why, yes, I saw a pair of jumper cables and decided my entire office had to look like that.

I tempting fate with my setup. So my room only has 2 prong socket , so I have to use a 3 prong adapter plug abd I habe surge protector plugged into that. Couple chargers for phone, tablet, plugged in my monitor and laptop which run constantly only when I'm not asleep. And then I also game so one console at a time and tv. . At least 5 plugs at a time. I've had it for years so it's been fine up to this point

It's fine until the n turns to a r. Be careful. Please have someone qualified replace the 2 prong wall receptacle to a 3 prong. The small cost is worth the reduced risk of damage that could come from it
