I just got these from in store. The elite version sold at Costco and Sam's club is the same thing as the outdoor permanent lights 2.


I'm working on a plan to install them tomorrow. I tested them out and they work pretty well! Excited for them to be installed in the next day or two.

Did you install using 3m or did you screw it?I'm wondering how strong is the 3m tape

Sorry for the late response.

I just used the 3m adhesive.

It's worked really well, haven't had any fall down yet. I did it in warmer weather and it was easy to stick. I did another install in colder weather (under 40f) and the 3m adhesive did not work very well.
