This is not a 500 dollar regular price. Its regular price most times is 139 to 149. Still a deal but not slick.

I bought the propane model on sale and use it almost daily for grilling veggie burgers. It works for pizza too, but I can't get it above 500-550 degrees, so it takes 6-8 minutes to cook. Avoid using a Papa Murphy's tray; it will melt and make a mess.

Big warning: The oven has a door with a glass window. On my first use, I propped the door on its handle next to the oven, and a strong wind knocked it over, shattering the glass. With the door damaged, the oven couldn't hold heat.

I contacted support for a replacement door, but they said it would take months to get one and offered a full refund instead. I took the refund, bought a food-safe stainless steel sheet, and covered the hole myself. It works great now!

I've done pizzas on other 12" pizza ovens and it's a pain in the ass. Also if it can't get to 900 degrees I would pass on it.

Bought this last time it was on sale and absolutely loving it so far, even though we use it only about once a week (and it was more expensive then too!). It's helped out a lot since we save quite a bit of money for how often we eat pizza, and it's much healthier than a fast food joint as well

I wouldn't bother making 12" pizzas, too little for me and I don't believe that's a $500 bucks oven, there are bigger and better in the $150-$200 price range

I don't see anywhere the size of pizza. I'm assuming 12" 700 degrees isn't that impressive. I can easily do that on my Kamodo and throw a pizza stone on it.
Yea but its charcoal. Not many ppl would want to do that for 1 or 2 pizzas everytime.

We bought this the last time it was on sale and it's not great. Barely gets to 500F with the door closed and the pizza we've made is just ok. Probably worth $129 but no more.

If you can do it for a burger or a steak you can do it for a pizza. Not many ppl want a tiny 12" pizza. I can make two 16" on my kamodo with the shelf. Read the reviews....it can hardly get to 500 degrees...lol. To each their own.

I've been using my Kamado Joe to make pizza for a number of years. It is a bit of work to get the charcoal going, and you need to make a few adjustments with the stones to not burn the bottom of the crust, but it does make a great pizza. Agree that an upper limit of 700 degrees on this unig is a limitation for a good crust. You also need strong heat from the top to make a good pie. I see that the Ooni wood pellet oven is on sale for $250 now, would spend more and get this instead as it's highly rated and gets up to 950 degrees.
