They are spiteful and don't want to pay the company that owns the patent so they turned off the feature. Remember if it doesn't make money for them, they don't want it.

Apparently the CEO of Massimo stated that Apples blood oxygen sensor is completely inaccurate and essentially useless. I know it's a contradictory statement considering he also claimed they're using their tech lol
