Thanks OP. Grabbed the last one in my local store. Price tag says $27, but when I checked the Home Depot app it shows $14, confirmed and purchased at customer service.

One store I went to they were in the normal spot where multimeters are, another store they were in an end cap with a bunch of clearance stuff.

Can these check the voltage on button bateries?
Sure, but probably easier to just get a dedicated battery checker. Those usually have a load to more reliably indicate battery strength instead of just a voltage test that can be misleading with a battery. Something like this

Naw, those are Flukes. An Ideal brandname should be unique. They may be fine for testing parts for General Electric work, but a true Craftsman only uses quality tools. Even if they are an Ex-tech or live in Milwaukee. Stick Out Tongue

(tried for more, but had to give up after a few minutes. Just sooo many.)

I found 3 in the back of the clearance end rack on aisle 42 in the Alexandria, VA, pickett location. I only bought 1, had a $27 sticker on it but rang up $14. 2 versions of the same Auto-Ranging Multimeter but one was in older packaging with a bunch of dust. They also had almost 10 manual meters for $7, and some small mini/portable multimeters that were marked $30-$40. Thanks - plan on using the capacitance capability for checking my AC's capacitor

Anyone tested the speaker yet? Sound is muffled on mine. I wonder if it's by design or if my unit is abnormal.
