check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.
For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!
Apparently it's Yamaha ebike week on SD

Suspension should not be big factor since crosscore suspension might not be good one. Wabash has better components. Also it's drop bar VS flat bar so it depends on rider's preference.
what components are better?

Reviews are mixed. I tend to agree with the following review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAqVo72QTXs
I spoke with a friend that has had a gravel bike and a mountain bike for many years. He told me he wishes he wouldn't have gotten the gravel bike. The handle bars are drop bars and it makes it difficult to maneuver over obstacles. It would be good for commuting to work on a unpaved and paved road though that are in decent conditions. Also, when your batteries no longer take a charge you are stuck with very difficult to pedal bike because of the motor weight unless you fork out $1400 or whatever Yamaha decides to charge for a new battery if they still support them. Just my thoughts.

This doesn't have suspension. Get the Crosscore RC for cheaper.
The bike seat has built in suspension travel. Also the tires take a lot of the shock if you don't fully fill them up to max air pressure.

Almost everything? GRX vs. Sora, the simplicity of 1x instead of 2x, a decent set of tires, a dropper post (which isn't a big deal for folks until you actually try one) that lets you get the seat out of the way to make it easier to let the bike move around under you while you're actually 'riding' the bike instead of just sitting on it and pedaling...

That's a dropper post, not a suspension post...and gravel tires give some compliance, but not enough to count as any type of 'suspension'...

Gravel Bikes and Mountain bikes are 2 different categories...for a casual rider starting out a flat bar road bike or hybrid/path bike can be easier to adjust to.

Drop bars aren't that bad to ride on though, as you spend most of your time 'on the hoods' in a more upright position that a typical 'racy' road bike...

Battery life and degradation is a concern, but the current offers are also including a 2nd battery

I meant the dropper post moves a little when you hit an obstacle. My mistake.

Blue Steel? Ferrari? Le Tigra? They're the same face! Doesn't anybody notice this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

I mostly ride on trails in the area with my Giant Talon E+ mtb, but have been shopping for a gravel/road e-bike for last month or two.

This is a fantastic price based on what else is out there in its category. Thanks, OP!

It's a suspension dropper post.

Would it be possible if down road motor breaks to just remove all the electrical and have it be regular bike?
