check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.

For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!

Was the store an actual "Yamaha" owned store or was it just a store that carries Yamaha bikes? In my city, we have stores that carry Yamaha but they also carry lots of other bikes. We don't have any Yamaha only dealerships
The one their talking about must of been the shop in Oregon. After a few days they started charging more because of all the orders. It is no longer worth ordering from them.

Try in the early morning or evening. Some people reported issues because the shop they were ordering from didn't have the color they wanted in stock. Also, credit card address was incorrect.

Just ordered this morning, but from my local dealer's site. The Yamaha site is crap or maybe it's too overloaded.

Anyway, I already own a Specialized Creo road eBike that set me back $7k after tax in 2020. However, was looking for a dedicated bike to dive into gravel biking.

Your local dealer might have these in stock to test. If you can it might be a good idea to see if you like them.
The dealers I have to try are not so local, more like 3 hours away, unfortunately.

Almost everything.
Brake, rear derailleur, 9 speed x2 (croascore) vs 1x11 (wabash). I prefer 1x system for simplicity because it's e-bike. Shifter is better. Dropper seat post etc…

As I said before it's about flat bar vs dropbar. Some people do not like dropbar but anyone who has road bike experiences, they will prefer Wabash because of wind resistance.

Pls allow me to list the same components shared on these two bikes (wabash RT & CROSSCORE RC)
Same motor, battery, controller, and frame design.
BTW, the CROSSCORE RC is 1x.

Not only this, but the assistance you use it up to you. My main ride is a Juiced RipRacer and I ride that 40-55 miles every few days and easily burn 2000-3000 calories in the process.

Crosscore RC is 2x. Zeez. Just go to the site and check yourself.

Shimano Sora (2x9) Braze-On

Rear- Shimano M3100

Yes. It has same motor, battery, frame and controller but components are different. Wabash has better components.

Damn. I rode a regular road bike 40 miles today and my Garmin calculated that I only burned 1900 calories. How do you burn that much on an ebike?

The Shimano GRX drivetrain, chainring, and brakes on the Wabash RT, you typically won't find all those components together on gravel bikes under $3k.

You can set your own workout on an ebike, it weighs far more than regular bikes, and you get to choose much power it uses.

The crosscore rc is a 1x. The spec is a mistake on Yamaha website . You can see it on YouTube link below, skip to 3:17.
