check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.

For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!

I just rode Wabash RT today without power for 10mins to test. Unlikely hub motor e-bike, Wabash can ride without power because there was no motor resistance from wheel. People can exercise with e-bike if one adjusts motor assistances or even without power.

Definitely it's heavy for uphill comparing to my 17ish LBS road bike but it's doable without power. Actually I like downhill because of weight hahaha.

I am not happy about gear shifting… probably I might need to adjust myself even though my dealer did tune up for the bike. Brake felt decent but not super great. Probably I need break-in period then I thought about crosscore brake should be better since it's heavier than Wabash….
You need to bed-in the brake pads first thing, otherwise they may never feel right.

You mean from Yamaha direct order?
If so, I did not heard anything after initial order and email confirmation. Email confirmation said that they will send additional update then 7 days later, I got a phone call from my dealer and said my bike is ready to pickup. Looks like my order went through immediately then Yamaha shipped next day or two since I was one of people who ordered earlier then it took 3-4 days to deliver to my bike shop then they assembled it right away.
Good info. I'm wondering about the delivery orders myself.

Was your order through the Yamaha website or direct from the reseller/bike shop?

I ordered thru the Yamaha website on Sunday and got the shipping notification today. I'm also having it delivered it to Charlotte Cycles where I test rode the medium on Sunday. Getting a large. My observations on the ride, the 180mm/160mm rotor combo had great stopping power. the levers modulated nicely. Loved the GRX shifter hoods (I have Ultegra Di2 12 speed on other bikes). I may change the dropper to a regular carbon seatpost as I didn't care for the suspension, and change the very flared handlebars to something less flared and carbon (Salsa Cowbell).
What doesn't make sense it that Yamaha apparently puts the same width bars on the small and medium, They should be 40cm and 42cm IMO.

I also have a Juiced RipRacer because of SD.

I'll use the Wabash RT for commuting because I'm less likely to sweat as much going up steep hills going to work. On the weekend I thought about having a spare set of road tires to swap too and turn down the assist to eco+ so it is closer to a regular bike. Unless they cancel my order. hahaha
Remember the rear wheel hub has a sensor in it so spare wheels are a lot of trouble. I'd just pick a tire that works well enough for both uses. Plenty of gravel tires have a pretty solid center tread for the road with more lugs on the slides.

I got my wabash yeaterday and rode it for 10mins today then when I saw the handlebar, I had same question that drop bar should be narrow/smaller…
Don't know I will replace or not…

BTW wabash RT small size is 46.8lbs with stock pedal. I will replace pedal tomorrow then I might add a little more weight but less care about weight for ebike haha.

Likewise I just rode a Wabash RT today for the first time. Coming from a freak light carbon road, wow it's a chunk of weight. Wow the drivetrain isn't quiet and butter smooth. My analog Motobecane gravel 2x11 (read cheap) is smooth compared to this. I'm a bit disappointed in how not smooth the overall ride quality is. That said, the e-assist is omfg good. But that I'd probably say for any e-assist, I don't know, this is my first. I have nothing but circling the neighborhood so far. It'll take weeks of riding for a final opinion.

To do:
1, the rear der needs a little tuning
2, the chain lube is a heavy oil. Brake cleaner, then wax lube to change
3, another set of rims with road tires to see what that does. Some work since the rear hub speed magnet setup needs to be xferred/2nd bought (else assist won't work), potentially with a little grinding on the new wheel's center lock rotor ring.

Coming from 11sp Ultegra DI and 12sp XTR, how is this 11sp GRX? Is it like 105 or Ultegra?

Possible to swap my Ultegra or XTR groupset over?
