I think I got this in a Humble Bundle. Really good rougue-like game, perfect on Steamdeck. Addictive gameplay loop similar to Hades/Deadcells. Well worth $5

Preferred this over the very popular Hades. Gameplay is less chaotic and more controlled. Plays perfectly on handhelds

Who also has played Hades and this? If you like Hades is it pretty much a guarantee you'll like this?

I liked Hades 1 Smilie.. 2 is kinda cool too, but still in early access.

I loved both, but I wouldn't say it's a guarantee that liking one means you'd like the other. They take very different approaches to the genre. But if the genre is what you're looking for -- a roguelite isometric hack-and-slash dungeon crawler -- yes it's super likely that you will like this.

I really like both games. Hades is a faster paced game, while Curse is more about combos that revolve around multiple weapons. For example, you can use sword, guns and whips in all kinds of combinations.

Runs great on Steam Deck and well worth $5 easy. Top comment RE Humble Choice is where I got this as well and love it. Similar to what others have said comparing to Hades being a little faster, but likely you'd enjoy both - different enough you'd easily be able to pick a favorite.

Best part for me is I need more games that I can do a run in 15-60 minutes so I can work out on bike while playing over lunch break XD
