No clue what's going on with this post but I can vouch for Secondipity and it's offshoots. I've ordered probably 50 things over the past 4 years. I've had some issues but they always resolve quickly and easily.
Secondipity has its ups and downs. Logitech and Sony products are usually safe items from them as they have partnered with both those companies to sell off excess and refurbished inventory. I bought Sony headphones from them 3 times now and all have looked new/worked fine.
Their problem comes from the home goods/tools/baby/etc. They are partners with home depot and target to sell excess inventory (clearance that didn't sell) AND return items. The biggest problem is at some point in the last couple years they switched from checking the items to just listing them as 'new' if it comes with original packaging or 'open box' if its taped up and looks like it was thrown at a tree while letting the customer figure out if it's functional. They just expect you to inspect the item and initiate a return within their 30 day window.
I would say over the last 5 years i have ordered from them probably 70 times or so. Of those orders, I have received brand new tools at 1/4 retail price and boxes that looked fine but had beat up heavily used items in them. Examples: A Milwaukee that came in the original box but the tool was covered in drywall mud, jammed, and wouldn't turn on. A baby bassinet that had an old lawn chair stuffed in the box. I've never had an issue getting a refund. They have always issued a refund immediately with a return label. I think I've return 6 things to them, mostly tools. If you know that going in its not so bad, but I understand customers that have never shopped there before being upset and leaving nasty reviews. They don't make it clear enough what they are selling. It's more of a goodwill than a retail store, but if you just find it while googling a product you wouldn't know that.

I would avoid Secondipity. Bought a refurbished Sony XM5 in April and it just died.
Their extended warranty company (CPS) wants $40 for shipping to and from them.
Based on other Secondipity thread comments, their products are a roll of dice.
